Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket took home two international awards recently. From Groupauto International – a global distribution network for spare parts and services for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and commercial vehicles – the aftermarket specialist was given the “Supplier of the year Award 2012” in the category “Quality”. In addition, TEMOT International – a strategic alliance and purchasing co-operation in the automotive parts market – awarded Schaeffler Group’s Automotive Aftermarket Business Unit its “TEMOT International Supplier Award” in the category “Best Sales, Marketing & After Sales Support 2011”.
“Both awards confirm that Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket and the product brands LuK, INA and FAG stand for outstanding quality on the global automotive spare parts market – at all levels,” said Michael Söding, President of Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket. “Awards from two such important international distributor organisations are high praise for our entire organisation – from the OE quality of our original spare parts to the outstanding performance and commitment of our colleagues in Marketing, Sales and Service,” Michael Söding added when accepting the two awards personally.
The “TEMOT International Supplier Award” in the category “Best Sales, Marketing & After Sales Support 2011” was given to Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket at TEMOT’s annual Executive Supplier’s Event in front of more than two hundred guests at the beginning of May in Stiges, Spain. The award is based on the performance of suppliers as rated by the TEMOT shareholders during the entire twelve months of 2011.
Only a few days prior to this, the aftermarket specialists were able to win the “Supplier of the year Award 2012,” which was given out for the first time in a “Quality” category by the Groupauto International at its congress event in Split, Croatia.
